Who picks these excursions, and how
Every Spanish city sells thousands of tours, and the platforms' own rankings reward whoever pays the most or sells the fastest. That is the problem this site exists to solve: a short list per destination, chosen the slow way, with the trade-offs stated plainly. Booking happens on GetYourGuide, Viator, or Expedia at the same price you would pay going direct; our job ends at pointing you to the right excursion.
How we choose
Every excursion on this site clears the same four checks before we recommend it: a full read of its review history across platforms, not just the headline score; the operator's record and licensing; a price sanity check against booking direct (when the official channel is cheaper, we say so on the review page); and the cancellation terms, because plans change and fine print matters. Tours are disqualified for review histories that show a pattern behind the average, for paid-placement offers (we do not take them), and for prices the experience cannot carry. When a pick's rating or review count runs thin, or below our usual bar, the review says so plainly instead of hiding it. We recheck every pick quarterly and delist anything whose reviews slip.
